Public Art Call for Proposals: Northern New England
DEADLINE: September 26, 2008

The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) is seeking proposals from nonprofit community organizations and municipalities that are interested in working with an artist to plan or create a site-specific, contemporary, public artwork in their community. Northern New England community organizations and municipalities located in Maine, Massachusetts (excluding Greater Boston), New Hampshire, and Vermont are invited to submit an application. Artists from all six New England States - Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont - are eligible to apply during the artist selection. Selected projects will receive $10,000 for either the planning of a permanent artwork or the planning and execution of a temporary work.
