Grant Basics

Online Grant Application System

The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts uses an online application system called Submittable. The online system will allow you to complete your application and upload all required documentation in a few simple steps. View the videos below to learn more about the system.

Each grant program has its own guidelines, application and required documentation. Please read the grant guidelines carefully before you start your application, and have all of your documentation gathered ahead of time. Specifically:

  1. Look at the online application – you might even want to print it – so you know what the questions are and what documentation you’ll need.
  2. Fill out and save the budget form for your program (downloadable from your grant program’s web page) before you start the online application. This will save you time.
  3. Save or scan all required documents and put them in an easily accessible place on your computer. If you’re filling out the application from a public computer, save your documents on a CD, DVD or portable drive for easy access. Don’t have a scanner? Most libraries and office supply stores have them available for public use.
  4. Follow instructions below to zip up files for easy upload to the system.
