Emile Birch, Canaan
Emile Birch is a sculptor who has created a number of public sculpture commissions for corporations and municipalities in New Hampshire. Those sculptures include the “New Hampshire Law Enforcement Memorial” on the grounds of the State House and the sculpture “Vigilance” as a remembrance of Portsmouth firefighters passed and present.
Emile is also a member of the State Arts Council’s Artist Roster where he has created many sculpture residencies for communities, schools, hospitals and programs that are designed for those with special needs. He has taught sculpture for a number of years at New England College and has presented workshops at colleges and preparatory schools throughout the granite state.
