BOARD MEETING MINUTES - July 21, 2000

 

Present:
Mark Watts, George Samuels, Mary Ellen Nicholls, Judith Coleman, Paul Finn, Edward Moquin

Not Present:
Danielle Doran

Paul Finn called the meeting to order at 9:10 AM

Minutes of the June 16, 2000 meeting were read Motion was made by Mark Watts and seconded by George Samuels to accept the minutes as read.

I. Correspondence

1. Phil Kinsler - resignation from PCC accepted by the board.

II. Rules and Regulations

1. The chair of the board will appoint a board member to be the contact person with the licensing board for drug and alcohol counselors.

III. Policy adopted

1. Work continues on rule writing

IV. WEB Pages

1. The board will send a letter to all licensees advising them to carefully read their profession's code of ethics in regards to advertising (.i.e. web pages)

V. Docketed Matters

1. John Brown - Board will issue order reinstating license as he is now in compliance with the decision and order dated 2/22/00.

Upon the motion of Mark Watts and the second of Mary Ellen Nicholls, the Board, by roll call vote, resolved to conduct a non-public session for the purpose of discussing applications and investigations of alleged certificate holder misconduct, in accordance with RSA 91-A:3, II(c), RSA 91-A:3, II (e), RSA 91-A:5, IV, Lodge v. Knowlton, 118 N.H. 574 (1978), and the Board's executive and deliberative privileges. Each member recorded his or her vote on the motion, which passed by the unanimous vote of all members present.

Upon the motion of Judith Coleman and the second of Mark Watts, the Board by roll call vote, resolved to withhold the minutes of the preceding non-public session, with the exception of approved applications, responses to motions and Disciplinary Actions until they are served, from public disclosure pursuant t RSA 91-A:3, III on the grounds that public disclosure would be likely to affect adversely the reputation of a person other than a board member and to render the proposed action ineffective. Each member recorded his or her vote on the motion, which passed by the unanimous vote of all members present.

1. Approved social workers: Leigh Bryant Beauregard, Lisa Krygeris, Kim Kelsey, Patricia Morse and Anna Meyerrose.

2. Approved mental health counselors: Patricia Greene, Linda Stakum, Milena Galbrath, Maureen Hays, Diane Scagliotti

3. Approved psychologists: Christine Frydenborg, Wandajune Bishop-Towle, Michelle Wolf

4. Approved marriage & family therapists - no applicants this month

5. Approved pastoral psychotherapists - no applications this month

II. Order of Emergency License Suspension and Notice of Hearing

1. Jodi Reichek - hearing scheduled August 3, 2000.

Meeting was adjourned at 1:00 P.M.
