BOARD MEETING MINUTES - July 18, 2003

 

Present:
Judith Coleman, Ron Dieter, Paul Finn, Larry Hansen, Mike Mortimer and Mary Ellen Nicholls

Not Present:--

Ron Dieter called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM

Minutes of the June 20, 2003 meeting were read Motion was made by Paul Finn and seconded by Mary Ellen Nicholls to approve the minutes as read.

Motion passed.

I. Correspondence

A. None this month

II. Nominations

A. Motion was made by Paul Finn and seconded by Judith Coleman to nominate Vicki Anderson as a Professional Conduct Investigator. Motion passed.

III. Proposed Rules

A. Motion was made by Paul Finn and seconded by Larry Hansen to approve the final text of Mhp 302.18, Mhp 302.19 and Mhp 502.02.

Motion passed.

B. Motion was made by Paul Finn and seconded by Mike Mortimer to send a letter to the JLCAR, along with the final text explaining the Board's reasons for submitting one Bill of Rights instead of five.

Motion passed.

IV. Board Travel

A. Motion was made by Mike Mortimer and seconded by Paul Finn to expend out-of-state travel funds to send Larry Hansen to the national AAMFT meeting.

Motion passed.

Upon the motion of Paul Finn and the second of Judith Coleman, the Board, by roll call vote, resolved to conduct a non-public session for the purpose of discussing applications, investigations of alleged misconduct of licensees, in accordance with RSA 91-A: 3, II(c), RSA 91-A: 3, II (e), RSA 91-A: 5, IV, Lodge v. Knowlton, 118 N.H. 574 (1978), and the Board's executive and deliberative privileges. Each member recorded his or her vote on the motion, which passed by the unanimous vote of all members present.

Upon the motion of Paul Finn and the second of Judith Coleman, the Board by roll call vote, resolved to withhold the minutes of the preceding non-public session, with the exception of approved applications, responses to motions and disciplinary actions until they are served, from public disclosure pursuant t RSA 91-A: 3, III on the grounds that public disclosure would be likely to affect adversely the reputation of a person other than a board member and to render the proposed action ineffective. Each member recorded his or her vote on the motion, which passed by the unanimous vote of all members present.

1. Approved mental health counselors: Betsy Harrison, Lisa Houle, Jill Pearl, Carlyn Arndt, Amy Babineau, John Sargent, Martha Hennessey, Julie Golkowski, Juliana Reed, Marcy Bardeen-Owings and Smita Chadda.

2. Approved social workers: Judith Geaghan, Suzanne Lynah, Wileen Vandenoever, Robert Zimmerman, Joyce Pollinger, Gail London, Andrea Canny, Dawn Werntz, Peter Costa.

3. Approved psychologists: Paul Miller, Lidkja Rapaic, Anne Pike, Catherine Lamond, Lori Bellino, Mark Brooks, Julianna Ward, Peter Schultz

4. Approved marriage & family therapists - Jamie Hallengren

5. Approved pastoral psychotherapists - Richard Crocker

II. Candidate for Licensure: Supervisory Agreements Approved
