NEW HAMPSHIRE BOARD OF MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICE

The purpose of the Board “is to regulate mental health practice by practitioners in the state
to assure that the services provided are effective and of a quality consistent with the standard
of care within each profession, and to safeguard the public against harm which may be caused
by, untrained, unskilled or unlicensed practitioners.” RSA 330-A:1

A. SB 21 - relative to the Board of Mental Health Practice - passed the Senate with amendment - a hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10 am with the House ED & A committee.
