The purpose of the Board “is to regulate mental health practice by practitioners in the state
to assure that the services provided are effective and of a quality consistent with the standard
of care within each profession, and to safeguard the public against harm which may be caused
by, untrained, unskilled or unlicensed practitioners.” RSA 330-A:1

A. 9:30 - Hippensteel, Betsy, Provider Relations Manager, Office of Medicaid Business and Policy - brief overview of two major initiatives going live.
January 1, 2016: The expanded Medicaid population, known as the New Hampshire Health Protection Program (NHHPP), is being moved to one of 5 qualified health plans (QHP) offered on the Insurance Exchange.
February 1, 2016: Medicaid recipients who were allowed to opt out of Medicaid Care Management will now be required to join Care Management.
