THE BOARD HAS ADOPTED NEW RULES.

PLEASE REVIEW ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS CAREFULLY. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES ARE HIGHLIGHTED BELOW.

Mhp 302.03 (a)(1-3) -The Board now requires a criminal background check for all applicants. If you are applying for licensure after June 19, 2015 you must submit a criminal background check with your application. The Board has provided links to all 50 states. Click on Links on the left hand side of this page and follow the directions.

Mhp 302.01 (c)(9) - Supervisors for candidates for licensure must obtain a graduate level course in clinical supervision, a clinical supervision certificate approved by AAPC, NASW, AMHCA or AAMFT or 12 CEU's in clinical supervision.

Essay exam questions are no longer required as part of the application packet.

There is no longer a one year academic residency requirement for LCMHC and LICSW.

The monthly Board Meeting is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2015. Public session begins at 9:00 AM with non-public session to follow. The meeting will be held at 121 South Fruit St., Room 119, Concord, NH.

address form found under applications/forms on this website

Candidates for Supervision: If you wish to be licensed in NH and obtain your post-master's hours in New Hampshire you must have these hours pre-approved by the Board via a Candidate for Licensure: Supervision Agreement. This form can be found under Applications/ Forms.
