• In order to renew certification, marital mediators are required to obtain 24 hours of continuing education over their three years certification period in course work or workshops approved by this board, on topics covered in your marital mediation core course including at least 3 hours of instruction in each of the following areas:
• Recent changes in New Hampshire divorce and custody procedure and in relevant New Hampshire and federal law
• Ethics for mediators, including a review of the Model Standards of Practice for Family and Divorce Mediation
• Domestic violence and
• Mediation skills

• Certified Marital Mediators may view this list of approved courses to see if a course has been approved, and for which subject matter and number of credit hours it was approved. The list will be updated as often courses are approved.

• All certified Marital Mediators or continuing education program providers who wish to have continuing education courses approved before (preferable) or after a course has taken place may request that approval by submitting this form to the Board.
