Total Education in Alcohol Management® program was developed to assist liquor licensees and their employees better understand NH Alcohol, Beverage and Tobacco Laws and apply concepts of responsible sales and service of age restricted products. Topics include recognizing and dealing with the "Customer of Concern" as it applies to a bartender, cashier, or server. Students will learn how to determine if a customer is of questionable age to purchase tobacco/alcohol, review current trends in fictitious identification and ways of detecting false or altered ID's.
T.E.A.M. Participants will also discuss signs of intoxication, intervention techniques, legal aspects of alcohol service and reduction in the risk of civil liability. Division of Enforcement instructors teach this certificate program free of charge throughout the State of NH on a monthly basis and is also available online at http://training.liquor.nh.gov/emoodle/.
