Total Education in Alcohol Management program was developed in 1985 to assist licensees and their employees to better understand and apply concepts of responsible alcohol sales and service practices. Understanding and dealing with the "Customer of Concern" as it applies to the waitress, waiter or bartender.
How to confront the underage customer when they attempt to purchase alcohol and ways of detecting false and/or altered IDs.
Identifying and avoiding sales to intoxicated patrons is also a part of the training, discussing intervention techniques, legal aspects of alcohol beverage service and the reduction of risk liability.
T.E.A.M. classes are offered throughout the State on a regular basis as well as at the Division's headquarters in Concord, NH and also offered online at http://training.liquor.nh.gov/emoodle/. Division of Enforcement Instructors teach the program and are offered free of charge to all attendees.
