Liquor Outlet Training Seminar (L.O.T.S.) was developed in 2003 as a comprehensive and interactive training program for the Liquor Commission's retail store employees. This collaboration of material will highlight NH Laws & Commission Policies, information on current trends in fake ID's, how to recognize questionable age, visible signs of intoxication, limiting civil liability risks, and protecting assets through safety measures for employees and customers.
L.O.T.S. will assist managers and employees gain knowledge in developing and maintaining a safe store environment, achieving responsible alcohol sales, providing excellent customer service within a retail establishment and consequences attributed to improper sales of alcohol. All new hires must complete the program before running a cash register and all store employees must complete training annually. L.O.T.S is also available online at https://lms.nh.gov/liquor/portal/.
