CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Special Requirements: Applicants must be able to satisfactorily undergo a state police criminal records check and a reference check. These checks will be performed at the Liquor Commission's expense, and will be performed for new hires, transfers and promotions if one has not been completed in the last 12 months.

SECRETARY II - BUREAU OF ENFORCEMENT-Part-Time-28 hours a week.

To perform clerical duties in achieving daily objectives relating to Liquor Commission Enforcement reports and documents. Some duties include assisting licensing, accreditation, and recruitment, sorting and filing correspondence and confidential documents, receiving, opening and distributing mail as well as other duties listed on the Supplemental Job Description. Rate of pay for this position is $12.16-$14.11 an hour. For specific days and hours or more information, contact Major Todd Feyrer at 271-1723.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Completion of high school, G.E.D. or its equivalent, including courses in office procedures, word processing or typing. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Two years' experience in a secretarial position, one year of which shall have been at the level of Secretary I or its equivalent.

License/Certification: None Required

Special Qualifications: Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and must be familiar with operating typical office equipment.

LIQUOR INVESTIGATOR I - BUREAU OF ENFORCEMENT

Open Recruitment

To investigate all criminal and administrative matters which are contained in laws relative to the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages and other criminal laws as necessary. Rate of pay for this position is $42,931.20 - $48,447.36.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Completion of High School, G.E.D. or its equivalent, plus 60 credit hours from a recognized college or university with a major field of study preferably in criminal justice or the equivalent.

Experience: No experience required.

OR

Education: Completion of High School, G.E.D. or its equivalent.

Experience: Two years of full-time employment as a certified police officer, or two years of experience in the military on full time active status with a honorable discharge, or a combination of the two occupations totaling two years.

Special Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age upon application of position. Must be willing to accept employment anywhere in the state. Must have and retain an NH drivers license for the duration of employment. Must pass the polygraph examination, psychological examination and fitness standards prior to employment. Meeting continued fitness and professional standards required of all applicants based upon NH law and administrative rules. Before the probationary period expires, apointees shall successfully complete a training program certifying that the appointee as a police officer which satisfies all applicable provisions of RSA 188-F:27, and rules of the NH Police Standards and Training Council. Liquor Investigators must maintain all requirements for certification as a police officer in New Hampshire.
