how to apply for license

  1. Phone call made by prospective licensee to help desk at 603 271-3521. Licensing Specialist will answer questions and set up appointment.
  2. "Mini app", request for application, filled out by licensing specialist. Applicant checklist given to prospective licensee with requirements for license.
  3. Mini app mailed to office by prospective licensee with $100.00 processing fee, processed in computer by office. Application mailed to licensing specialist for second meeting.
  4. Second phone call by prospective licensee, once all paperwork obtained, to set up second meeting, which is usually the final meeting.
  5. Licensing specialist goes through checklist to make sure all paper work required is there. Sends prospective licensee to office to drop off paperwork for review.
  6. Licensee brings in paperwork. If a brand new establishment, it is reviewed and put on next Enforcement Agenda for Commission approval. If buying an existing business, check is taken and a temporary license is issued.
  7. Additional information is given for any of the meetings which could consist of a MTS or TEAM list of classes, the web site is given out for rules & laws. Posters of acceptable identification. Credit application for use at the liquor stores. Flyer to order ID Checking guide books. All of this information is as requested.
