Welcome to the official home of the New Hampshire Governor's Lilac and Wildflower Commission.

Established by Governor John H. Sununu in 1984, the goal of the Governor's Lilac and Wildflower Commission is to promote extensive planting, propogation and care of lilacs and wildflowers throughout New Hampshire.

These efforts are accomplished through agricultural, educational, and horticultural programs, and through local community projects that involve schools, youth groups, 4-H and Garden Clubs and other civic organizations. more...

Photo Contest Winners Announced
August 30, 2019 - The Governor's Lilac and Wildflower Commission has recently announced winners of their 2019 Lilac Photo Contest. Winning photographs highlight lilac plantings in various New Hampshire community settings taken during the 2019 growing season.
