NOTICE

 

In accordance with RSA 490:8-a , the New Hampshire Supreme Court on April 15, 2008 made available to the public a "Report on the Status of Cases."  In accordance with the legislation, all cases filed prior to January 1, 2008 for which the notice of appeal was rejected and all cases decided have been removed from the list.

The report does not include cases filed prior to January 1, 2002 that are still pending. It should also be noted that the case status reported is as of the last day of the reporting period (March 31, 2008) and may have changed as of the filing date of this report (April 15, 2008).

A copy of the report is available for review at the Supreme Court clerk’s office at One Charles Doe Drive, Concord, N.H. from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The report is also available on the Judicial Branch website at http://www.courts.state.nh.us/supreme/sccaselist.pdf.

The report will be updated on a quarterly basis and will consist of the following information:

 a.       case name and docket number

 b.      date the notice of appeal was filed and the date it was either accepted or declined for review

 c.       date of oral argument

 d.      date of decision

At the end of each calendar year, cases that have been declined for review, and those that have been decided or otherwise closed will be removed from the status report.
