Associate Justice Gary E. Hicks

Gary E. Hicks, an associate justice of the Superior Court since 2001, was sworn in as the Photo: Associate Justice Gary E. Hicks 104th member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court on January 30, 2006. Justice Hicks was nominated by Gov. John Lynch to succeed Senior Associate Justice Joseph P. Nadeau who retired after 37 years with the judicial branch.

Justice Hicks, 52, practiced for 23 years at the law firm of Wiggin & Nourie before he was appointed to the Superior Court by then Gov. Jeanne Shaheen. Justice Hicks was born and raised in Coos County and is a graduate of Bucknell University (1975) and Boston University Law School (1978).
