Their information includes a description of the different divisions of court, legal terms, and descriptions of the criminal and civil court processes. Legal Glossary: The U.S. Federal Courts have a user-friendly list of legal terms. Teacher Resources: Below are links to other sites that contain a wealth of information about
state court systems, the federal court system, the bar association, and other
legal resources. Several of these sites have educational activities geared for
students, generally appropriate for students 5th-12th
grades.
Teachers: We need your ideas! The Court Communications Office wants to work with New Hampshire schools to begin development of lesson plans about the Judicial Branch. If you'd like to participate, please contact our office. The Court Communications Office can help arrange a tour
for your school to a courthouse in your area. You can watch a trial, visit
with a clerk and if time allows, meet our judges. |
