RULES OF THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

BILLS AND PETITIONS


    117. The name of the county in which a suit in equity may be brought shall be written in the upper margin of each bill or petition; and the words "in said county" shall refer to the county in the margin, unless the contrary appears.


    118. Every bill or petition shall contain, in the introductory part, the names, places of abode, and proper description of all parties to the proceeding. The form in substance shall be as follows:

                                        SUPERIOR COURT


    County of ___________________       _________________ Term, 20 ____

    A. B. of etc., complains against C. D. of etc., and E. F. of etc., and says, etc.

The bill or petition may conclude "and thereupon the plaintiff prays," setting forth the special relief which he seeks, "and for such other relief as may be just". If an injunction or other special order pending the suit is desired, it shall be specifically asked for.


    119. The mail address of the plaintiff shall appear on every bill or petition when entered.


    120. Every bill or petition, and answer, should be expressed as concisely as may be; and no deed, will, agreement or other writing shall be set forth at length or annexed to any bill or answer, but so much only as may be material.


    121. Each allegation of distinct and separate facts should be placed in a paragraph by itself, which should be numbered; and, when so numbered, the order observed in the bill or petition should be followed in the answer so far as may be.
