Certification of guardians ad litem is at the pleasure of the administrative judge of the superior, district and municipal, and probate courts. Revocation of a GAL's certification in superior, district and municipal, or probate court or other appropriate action against a GAL for failure to perform the duties and responsibilities of that office properly and competently is in the sole discretion of the respective administrative judge as provided by the administrative judge.
