RULES OF THE DISTRICT COURTS OF THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

CRIMINAL RULES

Rule 2.3. Presence of the defendant.

    
    Except in cases of violations under Rule 2.5, the defendant shall be present at the arraignment, at every stage of the trial, and at the imposition of sentence, except as otherwise provided by these Rules. The defendant's voluntary absence after the trial has been commenced in his presence shall not prevent the continuing of the trial and imposition of sentence.
