prospective jurors must contact the Grafton Superior Court
after 5:00 pm before the date you report for service. An

instructions and jury selection will go forward the
following day. The toll-free number is
1-800-498-5684.
You are required to appear for general jury instructions at 9:00 a.m. Following jury instructions, juries will be selected for civil trials.
On the day of jury instructions/jury selection all jurors must use the main entrance to the courthouse. Thereafter, jurors who are reporting for cases for which they have been selected are to use the door marked “Jury Entrance” on the south (left) end of the building.
In the event that this pool of prospective jurors is not needed your jury service will be rescheduled. Other than the date of jury selection, you are only required to appear for trials for which you are selected as a juror. The average juror serves no more than several days in the course of a month of jury service, although there are exceptions to this general rule, particularly when a lengthy trial is scheduled. Trial days start no earlier than 9:00 am and generally conclude no later than 4:30 pm or 5 pm. The overnight sequestration of jurors during deliberations is exceptionally rare. During jury deliberations, lunch will generally be provided at Court expense.
