Family Division
Where do I file my Case?
If you live in Belknap, Carroll, Coos, Grafton, Merrimack, Rockingham or Sullivan Counties, you should file your case at the Family Division locations in those counties.
If you live in Cheshire, Hillsborough, or Strafford Counties, you should file the following case types in the courts as listed below:
Juvenile abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency and CHINS (children in need of services), domestic violence
Adoptions, guardianships, termination of parental rights
Divorce/parenting, domestic violence
