Access to Justice During Inclement Weather
It is the policy of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch to provide access to justice despite inclement weather. Clerks and Registers will make every reasonable effort to ensure that staff are available to answer the telephone, respond to inquiries at the public counter, and accept filings, whatever the weather.
In the event extraordinary circumstances require that a courthouse be closed, that court will be listed below. Although a courthouse may be open, the court may cancel oral arguments, jury trials, non-jury trials, or even non-evidentiary hearings.
If you have questions about the level of service provided at a particular court during inclement weather, you should call the Clerk or Register. A complete list of courts and their telephone numbers is available at http://www.courts.state.nh.us/courtlocations/index.htm.
