To the New Hampshire Judicial Council
The Judicial Council is a 24-member board, established by RSA 494 to provide assistance and information about the state's courts and justice system to all branches of state government as well as to the bar association.
In addition, per RSA 490:26-F, 525-A, 604-A and 604-B, the Judicial Council provides funding for the Indigent Defense Fund, the Contract Attorney Program, the New Hampshire Public Defender's Office, CASA, NH Legal Aid for civil matters and Guardians ad Litem in marital, termination of parental rights and abuse & neglect matters.
The Council currently has a staff of 2: the Executive Director, and an Account Technician.
