  • News From The Board

NCEES and other engineering societies have taken a step to better understand the most important workplace and career experiences that matter to engineers, by collaborating in a study focused on "Why Men & Women Stay in Engineering. This comprehensive study, the first of its kind, is being conducted, in collaboration with the researchers behind the groundbreaking study "Stemming The Tide: Why Women Leave Engineering"  It is designed to systematically document what engineers enjoy most (and least) about their jobs, workplaces, and ultimately, the engineering profession.  This nation-wide survey of engineers will give specific feedback to engineering professional societies, policy makers and educators to thoughtfully craft initiatives that optimize engineers' engagement in technical careers and workplaces. To participate use the link below.   It is set-up to that you can begin it, leave it, and return to where you left off, as your time permits.  The researchers are offering to enter participants into a raffle for Amazon.com gift certificates.

The Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is now administered via computer based testing (CBT). CBT will be offered during a window period rather than in April and October dates.
