If you have not renewed you will need to file hardcopy “Return to Active Practice” application and will be required to submit all formal certificates of completion. If you find you are unable to meet your CPE requirement, please contact this agency immediately. For Expired and Inactive Status Licensees

Pursuant to RSA 309-B:14, III, if you have not renewed your license you are no longer authorized to use the CPA or PA designation until such time you have submitted the Return to Active Practice Application and supporting documentation and that application has been approved.

If you are not currently licensed to practice and wish to “Return to Active Practice” please see below:

If you are in expired status this means that you did not file an application to renew your personal CPA license within 60 days after it expired. In this regard your license to practice as a CPA in the State of New Hampshire is lapsed and you are currently not licensed to practice public accounting and you are prohibited from using the CPA or PA designation in any form pursuant to RSA 309-B:14.

If you want to return to active practice from expired status you have two options:

1) If you earned the appropriate number of CPE hours required for your recently missed renewal which included the 4 hours of ethics you may choose option 1.

2) If you did not earn the CPE required for renewal during the periods of time for your alpha group or you are currently in INACTIVE Status you may choose option 2.
