Initial License, Renewal Licenses, and Amendments

Non-Resident Producers are required to apply for, amend, reinstate and renew licenses online with the NAIC at the National Insurance Producer Registry. You cannot renew sooner than 60 days prior to expiration.

Business Entities

Initial License

Renewal License

  • A renewal notice with instructions will be sent to address of record approximately 60 days prior to expiration. Submit completed Renewal notice with required fees. May apply online with the NIPR.

License Amendments

Includes changing Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP), adding/deleting Lines of Authority (LOA’s).

  • Adding LOA’s requires a new application Adobe Acrobat Reader Symbol, DRLP must hold this LOA, requires a $50 amendment fee.
  • Adding, Changing, Deleting DRLP, Deleting LOA – Write a letter signed by the newly designated DRLP requesting the amendment, requires $50 amendment fee.
