"Buckle Bear"
The "Buckle Bear" character was developed especially for pre-school and kindergarten audiences.
Presentations with "Buckle Bear" are effective in encouraging young people and their parents to use safety
belts, and in informing them about proper belt and/or child safety seat use. The "Buckle Bear" costume is
designed to comfortably fit an individual up to 5'6". The Highway Safety Agency will loan the costume to
individuals or groups for events/presentations related to seat belt use and/or promote the use of safety belts in
New Hampshire.
