This was a case of sexual discrimination based on pregnancy. The Commission found for the respondent.

Anthony v. Nelson Communications
This was a pregnancy case in which the Commission found in favor of the Complainant. The Commission ordered the payment of lost wages, compensatory damages and attorney fees. The Commission also ordered the respondent to pay an administrative fine. It was the first time the Commission has used its authority to fine an employer.

Jennifer Byers v. Joe's Air Express, Inc., Joseph A. St. Cyr, and Airborne Freight Corporation, d/b/a/ Airborne Express
This was a pregnancy case where the complainant charged that she was discriminated against on the basis of pregnancy. The Commission ruled that the facts of this case do not support a finding that discrimination occurred.
