New Commission decisions will be posted as they are released.
Edward R. Ford v. Plymouth Village Water and Sewer District
This was a discrimination case in which the Commission found that Mr Ford had been discriminated against based on a perceived physical disability; mild asthma with chronic cough, by the Plymouth Village Water and Sewer District. Mr Ford alleged that he was discriminated against because his employment was terminated by the Water and Sewer District Commissioners who erroneously concluded that he had a physical disability which prevented him from performing his job. The Commission found in favor of the complainant and used it authority to order payment of back pay, medical costs, retirement benefits and attorney's fees.
