Administrative Services Commissioner Don Hill Announces He Will Retire Effective Feb. 29th

CONCORD - In a letter to Gov. John Lynch this afternoon, Administrative Services Commissioner Don Hill announced he will retire effective Feb. 29.

Hill has dedicated 36 years to state service. He served as commissioner of Administrative Services for 12 years and under four governors. He began his state service in 1971 as an accountant trainee in the Department of Education, rising to chief of business management before joining what was then the Department of Administration and Control in 1983. In addition to serving as commissioner, Hill served eight years as budget officer and assistant commissioner for eight years.

“I want to thank Commissioner Hill for his decades of dedicated service to the people of New Hampshire. Don has been an exemplary public servant and I wish him and his family well,” Gov. Lynch said.
