CONCORD - Gov. John Lynch today released the following statement regarding the Judicial Conduct Committee’s recommendation that Superior Court Judge Patricia Coffey be suspended for three months.
“The public has the right to expect its judges will meet the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Judge Coffey’s actions violated the public trust. A three-month suspension is not sufficient. I believe Judge Coffey should resign. Resigning would be the right thing to do for the people of New Hampshire and for the integrity of the Judicial Branch,” Gov. Lynch said.
