CONCORD - On the eve of the official start of the holiday season, Gov. John Lynch today reminded New Hampshire visitors and residents that New Hampshire ski slopes are covered in snow and will be open for business this long holiday weekend. Gov. Lynch also wants to remind all holiday shoppers that shopping in New Hampshire is always tax-free.
“New Hampshire has it all: some of the best skiing in the Northeast, beautiful scenery, vibrant and friendly communities, quaint shops and boutiques, and great hotels and restaurants. And of course, we offer our residents and visitors sales tax-free shopping every day of the year,” Gov. Lynch said.

“Visitors who stay, shop and ski in New Hampshire are important to our economy, and I want to do everything possible as Governor to encourage more people to come to New Hampshire - whether it is for a week or for a few hours of shopping,” Gov. Lynch said.
“My wife Susan and I want to wish all New Hampshire residents and visitors to our great state a joyous, healthy and safe holiday season. We hope you will make New Hampshire a part of your holiday plans,” Gov. Lynch said.
