CONCORD - As a result of several major toy recalls in the past month, Gov. John Lynch today urged parents to inspect their children’s toys and take appropriate action should any of those toys be the subject of a recall.
“As a parent, I can understand how parents of young children must be very concerned about whether the toys their children are playing with are safe. That is why I am asking parents to check their children’s toys and match them against the recall list,” Gov. Lynch said. “We’ve also posted a link to this information on the state website, to make it easier for families to find.”
The recall list can be found at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website, www.cpsc.gov. Parents can also find information about what to do if they find their child’s toy is on the recall list. Any toy on the recall list should be immediately removed from the child. Instructions regarding refunds can be found on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
A link to the commission’s website can be found on the state’s site, www.nh.gov.
