Governor Lynch Statement on Senate Vote to Reject Real ID

CONCORD - Gov. John Lynch today lauded the strong Senate vote in support of legislation prohibiting New Hampshire from participating in Real ID.

"I continue to have many concerns about Real ID, including the cost, the impact on the privacy of our citizens and the burden it will place on state government employees," Gov. Lynch said. "I applaud the Senate for overwhelmingly rejecting Real ID and for sending a strong message to the federal government. I look forward to signing this legislation, which will ensure the interests of the people of New Hampshire are protected."
