CONCORD – Gov. John Lynch has declared a state of emergency, ensuring the full resources of the state are available to assist communities in responding to the storm.
“I have declared a state of emergency to ensure that the full resources of the state are available to assist our communities in responding to this storm,” Gov. Lynch said. “We are working closely with local communities to protect the safety of our citizens.”
Gov. Lynch also dispatched National Guard members to Hampton, Rochester, Farmington and Greenville. Gov. Lynch has activated 200 members of the New Hampshire National Guard.
The state is working with local communities to dispatch sandbags, barricades. The Department of Environmental Services’ Dam Bureau is monitoring the condition of dams across the state.
