CONCORD - The New Hampshire Interagency Council on Homeless with hold three public hearings in the coming weeks, beginning tomorrow, on its draft 10-Year Plan for Ending Homelessness.
The hearings will be held:
November 10, 2005, 3 to 5 p.m., City of Manchester Public Health Department, 1528 Elm Street, Manchester.
November 15, 2005, 10 a.m. to noon, Community Campus, 100 Campus Drive, Portsmouth.
November 22, 2005, 6 to 8 p.m., City of Manchester Public Health Department, 1528 Elm Street, Manchester.
The New Hampshire Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) has been charged by the Office of the Governor with the responsibility of developing the State of New 10 Year Plan for Ending Homelessness.
The Council's draft report can be viewed at http://www.nashua-coc.org/files/ich/nhtyp.pdf.
The Council's goal is to develop a plan that is comprehensive, inclusive, and reflective of the needs of homeless individuals and families in New Hampshire. The goal is also to develop recommendations for efficiently coordinating existing resources and services, and planning for further development to address identified gaps and areas of need.
