Statement of Gov. John Lynch On Medicaid Waiver

Gov. John Lynch issued the following statement today on the completion of the state's Medicaid waiver and the inclusion of hardship provisions:

"Making sure New Hampshire's most vulnerable seniors can get the health care they need has been my top priority. By adding this language to the waiver, we can combat fraud and still make sure those seniors who really need health care, and who can't afford it, will still be able to receive the care they need.

"I want to thank the many Democratic and Republican legislators, particularly Sen. President Ted Gatsas, who worked with me to protect New Hampshire's seniors."
