This walk focuses on prevention, decreased physical inactivity, and increased employee health. Save the Date…The Granite Walk of Ages is Friday, May 29th starting at 10:30am at White Park in Concord.

Outstanding Achievement Award Program
The New Hampshire Governor's Council on Physical Activity and Health, on behalf of Governor Maggie Hassan, is pleased to announce the Council's Outstanding Achievement Awards for Physical Activity and Health. The award winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Friday, May 29, 2015

The Outstanding Achievement Awards are aimed at organizations/groups or individuals in New Hampshire that have accomplished outstanding achievements in promoting healthy lifestyles through physical activity and fitness services and programs.

The award categories are:

  • Senior (Older Adults)
  • Work Sites/Employers
  • Disability Related
  • Youth Related
  • Community (Town/City
  • School Districts and/or Individual Schools

Please consider nominating an organization/group or individual that is making a difference in New Hampshire's health. Please share this information with others that may be interested in nominating an individual and/or group. Applications will be available on the web site", and the deadline for submission is Friday, April 3, 2015.
