Michael Norklun

Mike has served as the Executive Director of the Concord Family YMCA since January 2001. Mike is also the Secretary for the NH / Vermont YMCA Executive Alliance. Mike’s YMCA experiences began in Massachusetts then brought him to Ohio, Maine and finally, New Hampshire in 1994. Throughout his career, Mike has held many positions including Associate Executive Director, Branch Director and Executive Director and has provided program leadership for Aquatics, Sports, Gymnastics, Fitness, and Childcare.

Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from SUNY Brockport. Mike has volunteer experience in coaching youth sports, including Lions Club and Rotary Club teams. Mike enjoys basketball, triathlons and surfing. Mike is married to Kristi, who is an Occupational Therapist and has two daughters Emily, who has special needs, and Rebecca.
