Mission:

To protect the public from the unprofessional, incompetent, or impaired licensees practicing embalming and/or funeral directing.

The Board of Registration of Funeral Directors and Embalmers issues licenses to qualified Embalmers and Funeral Directors based on the licensing requirements set forth in RSA 325. The Board regulates the minimum standards for professional conduct and continued competence and takes disciplinary action against licensees who fail to meet these standards.
