Bob McQuillen is much loved and respected for his lifetime of playing piano and accordion for contra dances in New Hampshire. In 1997, McQuillen was honored with a New Hampshire Governors Arts Award in Folk Heritage and in 2003, he received a National Heritage Fellowship, our nation's highest honor for a traditional artist, from the National Endowment for the Arts.
