Supporting Our Industry >> Works-In-Progress Series
The Works-In-Progress series is the brainchild of New Hampshire filmmaker Gary Anderson. Interested in getting filmmakers critical feedback from viewers during the editing phase, Gary and the New Hampshire Film and Television Office hosted the first Works-In-Progress session in the spring of 2005.
Not so much a public screening as it is a chance for other filmmakers to get together, view unfinished works and provide constructive criticism, the first Works-In-Progress session featured the documentaries "Tunde" by Ron Wyman and "Worlds Apart: 9-11 First Responders Against War" by Tom Jackson . Both filmmakers felt the session was very helpful as they reworked portions of their films based on the feedback of their peers in attendance.
The Film Office is working to schedule more Works-In-Progress sessions in 2006. Stay tuned for more information.
