Supporting Our Industry >> Industry Roundtables & Meet-Ups

The New Hampshire Film and Television Industry Roundtable, presented by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office, provides industry professionals, amateurs, and students with the opportunity to attend a lunch-hour networking event and share their ideas and concerns about the state of their industry in New Hampshire. The roundtables are held quarterly in various venues around the state and attendees are encouraged to come B.Y.O.L. (Bring Your Own Lunch!) This event features an update of news and information from the New Hampshire Film and Television Office, discussion on a focused topic, and the chance for socializing and connecting with other industry members. Although the conversation is geared heavily toward the working film industry, the New Hampshire Film and Television Industry Roundtable is free and open to the public.

The New Hampshire Film and Television Industry Meet-Up is a new program and an extension of our current industry roundtables. While our roundtables are designed to be lunch-time, business-oriented events with a focused topic, the meet-ups are scheduled in the early evening and are structured to allow attendees to drive the discussion. The format may change from time to time: one evening may be more like a "Pecha Kucha" type of event, another may adopt a "Speed Geeking" format, or the evening may take on a more traditional meet-up role with everyone having the chance to take a few minutes to introduce themselves and provide information on their recent or upcoming endeavors (yes, there will be a set time limit!) Like the Industry Roundtables, the conversation is geared heavily toward the working film industry and is free and open to the public.

The first New Hampshire Film and Television Industry Meet-Up is scheduled for:

Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 5 p.m.
New Hampshire State Library, 20 Park Street, Concord
Please RSVP by Monday, September 28 to film@nh.gov or (603) 271-2220
