Promoting New Hampshire Filmmakers and Films

The mission of the New Hampshire Film and Television Office is two-fold: to market the state as a filming destination to both in-state and out-of-state productions; and to support New Hampshire’s own filmmakers.

To this end, the New Hampshire Film and Television Office is proud to announce that we will be devoting a new section of our Film Office web site at www.nh.gov/film to promoting New Hampshire films. The section will be broken into two parts: one part listing films that have upcoming screenings, the other showcasing films that are for sale.

How does this work? Send us the following:

NEW HAMPSHIRE FILMS – UPCOMING SCREENINGS

- The title of the film
- Cast/Crew information (headlining cast and above-the-line crew only, please)
- Genre, Year, Length, Color/B&W
- Brief synopsis or log line
- MPAA rating, if available. Otherwise, please disclose if the film is suitable for all ages, mature audiences, etc.
- Scan/original artwork of DVD cover or poster (must be submitted in JPEG format)
- Screening date and venue
- Admission fee, if any
- Your address and home phone (for verification purposes)

NEW HAMPSHIRE FILMS – FOR SALE

- The title of the film
- Cast/Crew information (headlining cast and above-the-line crew only, please)
- Genre, Year, Length, Color/B&W
- Brief synopsis or log line
- MPAA rating, if available. Otherwise, please disclose if the film is suitable for all ages, mature audiences, etc.
- Scan/original artwork of DVD cover or poster (must be submitted in JPEG format)
- Retail price
- URL (web link) to page where visitors can purchase copies of the film
- Method of payment (check, money order, VISA/MC, PayPal, etc.)
- Your address and home phone (for verification purposes)

Note: If you are selling copies of your film, you must have a web page available (separate from the Film Office web site) where visitors can complete the transaction. The actual sale of the film will be done through the individual filmmakers. The Film Office will not be responsible for completing transactions. For example, if your film is being sold through a retail site such as Amazon.com, or if you have your own personal pages devoted to the sale of your film, our site will direct users there. At this time, filmmakers must provide a URL to either a commercial retail site or a personal web page to be listed. Mailing addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses will not be accepted as sole methods of purchasing information.

Films will be listed on the pages in alphabetical order.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The New Hampshire Film and Television Office is using this opportunity to promote films made solely by New Hampshire filmmakers. Filmmakers must be residents of the state to participate; although the content of the film is not restricted to New Hampshire (e.g. New Hampshire documentary filmmakers who have shot their films elsewhere but have completed their projects here.) This is a celebration of the artists in the state of New Hampshire.

These pages will be a great way for our office to better show the world that regional filmmaking is alive and well in New Hampshire and that we have great talent behind the art, all the while driving the attention of our site visitors to your screenings and work available for purchase. We hope you will join us in this effort.
