Production Directory Listing Guidelines

Last updated: June 23, 2008

The New Hampshire Film and Television Office Production Guide is a comprehensive directory of industry professionals and support services providing products and services to entertainment firms producing motion pictures, television programs, commercials or print advertising within New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Film and Television Office invites New Hampshire-based production companies and crew to list their services with our Online Production Guide. Below is information about how to submit your information and our policies regarding production guide listings.

Basic Information

If you would like to add your services to the guide, send an e-mail to film@nh.gov with the following information:

  1. Your Name (required)
  2. Company Name
  3. Physical Address, City, State, Zip (required)
  4. Mailing Address, City, State, Zip (required)
  5. Primary Phone Number (required)
  6. Secondary Phone Number
  7. Fax Number
  8. Web Address
  9. E-mail Address (required)
  10. Description - Credits, Affiliations, Etc. (required)

The above information is necessary for Film Office documentation. Published listings must contain, at minimum, your name and/or a company name, city, a description of your services and one method of contact (either phone or e-mail). Please let us know if you would rather not include your physical address for publication.

Category Selection

You are welcome to list your services in up to four (4) categories that best describe your services. (Refer to our Production Directory for categories)

  1. Category One (required)
  2. Category Two
  3. Category Three
  4. Category Four

Provide a brief description (of no more than 150 words), including services, affiliations, equipment, and credits relevant to each category (e.g. all camera-related credits, equipment, and services should be kept under the Camera category, while all of your editing credits, etc. should be listed only under the Editing category.) Do not overlap credits into categories that are not relevant just to make listings “look good”.

A special note regarding businesses listed in the Production Company category:

Businesses wishing to be listed the Production Company category will need to supply the Film and Television Office with additional documentation showing that the business is officially registered with the Secretary of State as either as an incorporated entity (Inc., LLC., etc.) or a registered trade name. Those businesses listed in the Production Company category are still allowed four (4) additional categories under which to list their services.

The Listing

Your completed listing will look something like this:

Add Your Photo

Put a face with the name by adding a photo to your listing. Your photo will need to be 87 pixels (w) by 111 pixels (h) (we'd prefer that you send it in at the requested size, however, if you don't have the means to crop or resize, simply send in your photo and we'll quickly prep it for you.) JPEG formats only, please.

Listing Policies

  • Submissions to the directory must contain a city/town and state in the address field (this will be published and used as verification). Listings are limited to New Hampshire businesses and indisviduals only. Secondary numbers with outside area codes, including cellphones, will be accepted. Post office boxes may be listed in the guide if accompanied with a physical address or if the Film and Television Office has first-hand knowledge that the business or individual does indeed reside in New Hampshire.
  • The description in your listing is to be used as a brief summary of services, qualifications, credits, and/or equipment available. Please refrain from using the description as advertising space. Prices, fees, special deals, or statements such as, “Your best choice in New Hampshire” will not be accepted. Story or film synopses are also prohibited.
  • Be truthful with your credits and qualifications. Padding your resume or posting untrue work credits will result in the removal of your listing. While we do not have the resources to verify everyone’s work history, word travels fast in our industry and we learn quickly about who has and hasn’t worked on a particular film and in what capacity. The same is true regarding qualifications. We understand that everyone is looking to advance their skills to the next level, but if you have only operated a high-definition video camera and not a 35mm motion picture camera on a professional level, then you should not be listed as a 35mm camera operator for incoming productions. Your experience should be reflected in your credits. NOTE: Major motion picture and television credits should, at the least, be verifiable through IMDb (Internet Movie Database) at www.imdb.com.
  • The New Hampshire Film and Television Office reserves the right to edit, categorize or reject any listing submitted for posting in the online production guide.

If you have questions regarding our online production guide, our listing policies, or film and television production in New Hampshire, feel free to contact the New Hampshire Film and Television Office at (603) 271-2220 or via e-mail at film@nh.gov.
