Fall Foliage Reports

The fall foliage season in New Hampshire typically runs from the last two weeks in September through the first two weeks in October. Southern portions of the state and the seacoast may see the season run into the last weeks of October, and sometimes into early November, given the conditions. Lodging is commonly booked throughout the state a year in advance, with the highest percentage of rooms being booked over the Columbus Day weekend, as this is normally peak foliage in the central and White Mountains areas of the state. Foliage reports are provided by the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development.
