Tracking Heart Attacks

The EPHT Program is tracking heart attack hospitalization discharges and two key air pollutants: ozone (O3) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). You can find the following heart attack indicators for New Hampshire at NH HealthWRQS. In the near future, these indicators will be available on the Environmental Health Data Integration Network (EHDIN):

• Annual number of AMI hospitalizations, by age, gender and geography
• Monthly average, maximum, and minimum daily number of AMI hospitalizations by age, gender and geography
• Annual age-adjusted rate of AMI hospitalizations by gender and geography
• Annual crude rate of AMI hospitalizations by gender and geography
• Annual age-specific rates of AMI hospitalizations by gender and geography
