The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is coordinating with the US Geological Survey (USGS) to acquire high resolution, leaf-off, color, aerial photography. Preliminary plans are to collect 1-foot pixel resolution imagery for the entire state. Data will be collected in the spring of 2010, with final products available approximately 6-9 months thereafter. Additional technical specifications for the planned collection are provided are attached below.
NHDOT is pleased to offer communities the opportunity "buy-up" to 6" pixel resolution to support municipal needs. The attached cost estimate document provides a current cost estimate for each town in the state. For planning purposes, we recommend you budget at the high end of the cost range for your town until a final estimate is available. (Note: These estimates have been revised from the initial iteration.). This opportunity provides an estimated 30-50% cost savings to communities in the state.
