| Details: | The NHDOT has utilized dual aluminum direct-burial tube supports and steel u-channel for much of its highway signing. Current Federal Aid requirements allow only the use of supports that have been crash tested in accordance with NCHRP 350 guidelines. The Department, in cooperation with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, contracted to have a series of crash tests performed at the TTI Proving Ground in Texas. |
