The Central Turnpike, commonly known as the F. E. Everett Turnpike, extends from the Massachusetts state line in Nashua to Exit 14 in Concord. Its distance is 39.5 miles and, in part, constitutes a portion of US Interstate Highways 93 and 293. It connects three urban centers in New Hampshire (the cities of Concord, Manchester and Nashua). The route also connects with the major East-West roads in New Hampshire (NH 101, US 4 and I-89).
Six toll plazas are located on the Central Turnpike; two at Hooksett (main line and ramp), a main line plaza in Bedford, and ramp plazas at Bedford Road, Exit 11 and Merrimack Industrial Park Interchange (Exit 10). There are maintenance facilities at Nashua, Merrimack and Hooksett. Park and Ride facilities are located in Hooksett (Exit 11) and Nashua (Exit 8).
Visit NHRideShare for detailed park and ride information. In addition, two rest areas for information and rest room facilities are provided in Hooksett and one Welcome Center in Nashua (Exit 6) for the convenience of Turnpike System patrons.

The Hooksett Toll Plaza is a barrier plaza, consisting of 14 lanes, two of which are "reversible", and four of which are "convertible". Reversible means we can take a northbound lane and change it to a southbound lane, and vice versa. Convertible means we can change it from processing E-ZPass transactions only to processing all transactions. Hooksett Ramp Toll is part of the Hooksett Main Toll and is staffed and managed by the Hooksett Toll. We are located between Concord NH, the capital of our state, and Manchester, NH, the largest city of our state. |
